The announcement was made during the 500 Festival Breakfast at the Brickyard held at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Saturday, May 17.

The new space will serve as a healing area for Riley patients and their families. It will offer activities, workspaces and places to rest.

Along the course were their families, 500 Festival princesses, Butler Blue and 13News meteorologist Lindsey Monroe cheering them along the way.

Teammates and members of the community gathered Thursday for a prayer service in honor of Dylan Veselic, held at Saint Raphael Catholic Church.

It was anything but quiet around Avon's public library Thursday evening.
